Q Please respond to the main idea posed by this video. Start with the video's argument (controlling idea) and then take a stand on it. Begin by posing a sentence, which begins with a statement summarizing the video's argument in one sentence (e.g., "This video's main argument is (fill this in)." Follow that with your opinionated take--your thesis--on the piece's message, indicating what's correct or incorrect, accurate or inaccurate, helpful or not about the message, in one sentence (e.g., "However, this idea is only partly correct, because of the fact that (fill this in)"). Next, support your position with reference to the video, itself, as well as drawing from your own experience. Make this, your initial post, about 250 words. FYI, beginning with your next post (not this first one, as an exception), you will see that you will usually also be required to choose two other students' posts to respond to (about 150 words each). Whenever you post--and this will be true all term--remember to be specific and to support what you say with evidence from the text.

This video’s main argument is that it is wrong to think the habit of texting is ruining English Language. In fact he presented it in a way that shows that texting is doing a miracle now a days. The people are taking it in a wrong way. I personally do not fully agree with this idea because I believe that the process of texting has given birth to short forms which is damaging the English language and people are forgetting the actual spellings of words.
